Poultry Project
This poultry project shall be a source of income for the orphanage. The orphanage shall be selling eggs that help to boost the income of the Orphanage. Some eggs shall be used as a diet for the children since we need them to be healthier.
The start of the poultry project will cost USD 3000.
Piggery Project
The piggery project shall be a source of income for the orphanage. Piggery farming is one of the fast income-generating projects. And this shall be used as a study center to the people in the community. People in the community shall be taught how they can also start small with poultry and piggery farming. The start of the Piggery project will cost 3500.
Solar Systems Project
The orphanage needs more lighting. Electricity is scarce in our area and solar panels and batteries are needed to provide for this need. This will provide needed indoor and security lights at the orphanage. The completion of this project will cost USD 800
Water Tank Project
The orphanage requires two water tanks to provide safe and clean water for all the children and the ministry. These two water tanks shall help provide safe water for drinking and also keep water from evaporating during the dry season. The cost for two water tanks is USD 600.
Fencing Project
We need to fence our Orphanage home to increase on the security and safety of Children, orphanage projects, and all property. Fencing shall cost USD 4000
Second Dormitory
An immediate need is the completion of a second dormitory. A second dormitory is needed to separate boys from girls. The children are growing and we have only one dormitory at this time. Each gender needs privacy. Construction on a second dormitory has started but is now unfinished due to the increasing costs of construction materials.
To complete the second dormitory, USD 3500 is needed.
Church Plant
This is a pressing need. Our children walk a long distance of 8 km (5 miles) to attend a Bible-believing and theologically sound church. There is not a nearby church with sound doctrine. This area surrounding the orphanage is filled with false and unbiblical doctrines misleading people spiritually. Therefore, we need to plant a Christ-loving, gospel-centered church that shall help teach Christ-centered, sound doctrine to prepare the children and others in the community to live out a gospel-centered life. The building of a complete church is USD 20,000, but there is a plan to build in phases as money becomes available.
School Project
In Uganda, children have to pay school fees to attend school each semester. A school on the orphanage property would give children a better education along with better supervision. The orphanage school would give the children the opportunity to have a Christ-centered, faith-based foundation. The cost to build a school is approximately USD 20,000. The school can be built in phases.
Ministry Van Project
Transportation to a larger city for advanced medical care and trips to the market are needed. At this time, the easiest and cheapest way to transport is by motorcycle which is unsafe for small children. A ministry van is needed for the safe transport of children and to transport large quantities of food from the market. A new van in Uganda costs approximately USD 20,000.
